SCRIPTURAL ROSARY

NOTE: The Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Litany of the Most Precious Blood, Litany of the Saints, Litany of Our Lady of Sorrows are weapons for spiritual warfare. If you're praying the Rosary for spiritual warfare, pray the Sorrowful Mysteries. These are all part of God's arsenal according to a few books and some online articles.

PRAYER FOR GOD'S ARMOR
(Ephesians 6: 13-17)
I put on God’s Armor to resist the devil’s tactics. I stand my ground with truth buckled around my waist and integrity for my breastplate. I carry the shield of faith to put out the burning arrows of the evil one. I accept salvation from God to be my helmet and receive the Word of God from the Holy Spirit to use as a sword.

NICENE CREED
      I believe in one God, the FATHER Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
      I believe in one Lord JESUS CHRIST, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through Him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation He came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
     For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate, He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and His Kingdom will have no end.
     I believe in the HOLY SPIRIT, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
     I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.

PATER NOSTER
      Pater noster, qui es in caelis: sanctificetur Nomen Tuum; adveniat Regnum Tuum; fiat voluntas Tua, sicut in caelo, et in terra. OUR FATHER

MEMORARE
      Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help and sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I hasten to you. O Virgin of virgins, my Mother, to you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. The Angel Gabriel said to Mary: "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women...You shall conceive and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus...Mary answered, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done to me according to your word."


2. THE VISITATION
Luke 1:42-44
Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and cried out in a loud voice: "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb...The moment your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe in my womb leapt for joy."


3. THE BIRTH OF JESUS
Luke 2:6-7
And it came to pass while they were there, that the days for Mary to be delivered were fulfilled. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothing and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn."


4. THE PRESENTATION OF THE CHILD JESUS IN THE TEMPLE
Luke 2:22,34,35
When the days of her purification were fulfilled they took him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord... Simeon blessed them and said to his Mother, "Behold, this child is destined for the fall and for the rise of many in Israel, and for a sign that shall be contradicted; and thy own soul a sword shall pierce."

After three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions...And He returned with His parents to Nazareth, and was obedient to them.

1. THE AGONY OF JESUS IN THE GARDEN
Luke 22:42,44
Kneeling down, He began to pray, "Father if it be Your Will, take this cup from me, yet not my will but Yours be done"... In His anguish He prayed even more intensely, and His sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.


2. THE SCOURGING OF JESUS AT THE PILLAR
Matthew 27:26
Pilate released Barabbas to them. Jesus, however, he first had scourged; then he handed Him over to be crucified.


3. THE CROWNING WITH THORNS
Matthew 27:29,30
Weaving a crown of thorns they fixed it on His head, and placed a reed in His right hand. To make fun of Him they knelt before Him saying: "Hail, King of the Jews." They spat on Him, and took the reed and kept striking Him on the head.


4. THE CARRYING OF THE CROSS
Matthew 27:31, Luke 23:26
When the soldiers had finished mocking Him, ... they led Him away to crucify Him. On the way they laid hold of a certain Simon of Cyrene, coming from the country, and upon him they laid the cross to bear it after Jesus.


5. THE CRUCIFIXION AND DEATH OF JESUS
Luke 23:33,34,44,46
When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified Him... Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing"... There was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour... and Jesus cried out with a loud voice, "Father, into Your hands I commend my spirit".

1. THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS
Mark 16:4-6
And looking up they saw that the stone had been rolled back, for it was very large... On entering the tomb they saw a young man sitting at the right side who said to them, "Do not be afraid. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth who was crucified. He is risen, He is not here. Behold the place where they laid him."


2. THE ASCENSION OF JESUS INTO HEAVEN
Mark 16:19
Then, after speaking to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven, and took His seat at God's right hand.


3. THE DESCENT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT UPON THE APOSTLES
Acts 2:3,4
And there appeared to them parted tongues as of fire, which settled upon each of them. And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in foreign tongues, even as the Holy Spirit prompted them to speak.


4. THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

"Fill those jars with water," Jesus ordered, at which they were filled to the brim. "Now," He said, "take some out and take it to the waiter in charge."


3. THE PROCLAMATION OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD
