Palm Sunday of the Lord's Passion
FLOW OF THE HOLY MASS (A) (Roman Rite):
source/note: This is a fusion of the actual flow of the Palm Sunday mass in our parish based on my own personal research, the things I learned from our church elders and the 9 April 2017 Palm Sunday missalette.
PART I. The Commemoration of the Lord's Entrance into Jerusalem
Form 1: Solemn Procession (blessing of palms outside the church)
- Antiphon (Matthew 21: 9) (used only when there's no song): "Hosanna to the Son of David; blessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord, the King of Israel. Hosanna in the highest."
- Greeting: "And with your spirit."
- Introduction
- Prayer: "Amen."
- Gospel of the Lord's Entrance into Jerusalem: (Matthew 21: 1-11)
